Your Body is Art At Sage Massage Studio

By Elisha Neubauer

Your body is a work of art. According to Sage Massage Studio, in Dallas, Texas, you should treat it as such.

The studio has a unique mission when it comes to how they approach the massage arts and they want everyone to feel included in this charge. The Sage approach includes utilizing highly-effective, intuitive, educated therapies to build a foundation for healing, relaxation, and rejuvenation.

"It is my intention to be fully present, receptive and committed to meeting your needs," Cemetria Hayes McMullen, owner, said.

When it comes to the Sage space, McMullen has put a huge focus on providing an organic, professional, relaxing environment for every client that walks in the door. She strives to offer a peaceful and safe space that will in turn encourage an environment of open communication. It is the Sage Mission to facilitate health, balance, and self-awareness through these practices.

"I believe the body is a form of highly unique and sophisticated systems," McMullen said. "In other words, a work of art."

Each client is treated as an individual, ensuring everyone gets a massage tailored to their specific needs. Having a safe, client-centered space seems to help not only reduce stress for clients, but helps the massage therapist achieve muscular results on a grander level.

In addition to offering specialized treatments to clients, Sage Massage Studio is a Texas approved small group continuing education studio for licensed massage therapists. Each of these courses is taught with relevancy, passion, and knowledge.

"As an instructor within the massage profession, I believe that both licensed massage therapists and students of massage should seek role models and mentors who are engaged, inspiring, and relevant within the profession," McMullen said. "It is not enough to just know another massage therapist, but to actually find one (or two) who can challenge your growth and help you strive to be better is key to career longevity in massage."
