U Lucky Girl Revolutionizes Sympathy Cards and Wedding Invitations with Hilariously Creative Stationery

By Courtney Clark

U Lucky Girl Design House helps couples tie down the details when they tie the knot. Originally a marketing and PR boutique, the company offers branding for stationary, invitations, napkins, and much more. Their luxurious designs are one-of-a-kind and tailored specifically to each customer.

The company deals with more than just weddings, however. U Lucky Girl was established in 2010 by Bridgette Crull and Nanci Bauer. According to the company website, the goal is to provide "alternative, humorous and creative stationery for the modern day shopper." The owners use a variety of printing processes such as thermography, foil stamping, engraving, and more to create honest and personalized stationary, greeting cards, and more.

And the goal is to create something unique to the customer. "You don't pick an invite from a book," the owners say. "We create and meld the bride or groom's concepts into their ultimate wedding vision." The happy couples can choose from a variety of products: invitation suites, place cards, cake toppers to name a few. The girls behind the name want to capture couples' personalities in each design.

The owners search for niche markets and have two greeting card lines: Steppin' In and Warrior. The former line aims to reach "blended families" while the latter is "revolutionizing the sympathy card." The Steppin' In line includes cards that read messages such as "I love our blended family" and "World's Coolest Stepmom," while the Warrior line offers support with greetings like "fight like a lady" and "Go ahead, throw stuff - it always makes me feel better."

Crull and Bauer started the boutique with marketing and PR in mind. Because of this, the two offer branding packages or a la carte services. "We will work with you on creating your identity through logo, website, advertising and marketing materials," the website reads. They'll even design social media and email blasts around the brand. Packages range from logo design to complete branding, and a la carte services include business card design, stationery design, promo items, and more.

U Lucky Girl strives for a user-friendly process. The owners explain, "If you have an idea, we can make it into a reality. It's that simple." So whether a couple needs a design for their nuptials, a small business wants help creating a brand, or a customer just needs an honest greeting card, this unique boutique can provide unique and customized products with unforgettable results.
