Introducing Trinity Hall Irish Pub: It's not a Location, It's a Lifestyle

By Elisha Neubauer

If you're over twenty-one, chances are you've set foot in an Irish Pub at least once by now. They're one of the most popular drinking establishments across the world; because let's face it- they're filled with friendly people, great food, good pints, and lots and lots of music. It's the standard of the Irish Pub way of life and does not change with the location of the pub. The same can be said for Trinity Hall Irish Pub. Regardless of its Dallas location, Trinity Hall is the epitome of the Irish Pub lifestyle.

"When you arrive, you feel that sense of belonging," explains Marius Donnelly, Proprietor and Chief Bottle Washer. "Never too young or too old, too hip or not hip enough; you can always find a spot inside that matches your mood!" Donnelly takes the Irish Pub lifestyle seriously, or as seriously as you can take an Irish Pub lifestyle, that is. He strives to ensure there is always something going on that will involve both locals and tourists and provides a smattering of live music and performances that embody the Irish ambiance. And of course, he keeps everyone laughing.

"The family-friendly approach of our Kennedy-esque appointed Pub separates us from others in the metroplex with a grand repertoire of Traditional Irish Musicians playing weekly Thursdays through Sundays, Ceili Dancing every month and unique nights for Playing Poker, Team Trivia, Tuesday Triva and many other excuses to come visit with us," he chuckles.

And, of course, what would an Irish Pub be without an expansive selection of good ol' fashioned pints and whiskey? "Expansive beer lists have become a standard now in the restaurant business, due to the success, and massive number, of craft brewers bringing delicious beers to market," states Donnelly. "Our guests crave new taste experiences on every visit and with all the time we have while our Pints of Guinness settle, it's a great opportunity to share new flavors and tastes!"

For those unsure of what to order, or looking to expand your selections, Trinity Hall offers beers and whiskeys in flights. "These are smaller portions served side by side to compare and contrast with a little guidance of tastes to watch for from their server," he explains. In addition to daily flights, the Pub hosts Tasting Events focused on a specific brand, area, or style. During these tasting events, you can usually find featured whiskies, and on some occasions, wines, beers, and other spirits, too.

The location for the Pub couldn't have been a better choice, either. Nestled in Mockingbird Station, Trinity Hall seems right at home. "Mockingbird Station where the pub is located is a complete village with Art house movies, great shops, restaurants, coffee & ice cream shops, all connected to the rest of Dallas via DART rail & bus on site and with plenty of parking with easy access back on to freeway and main roads."

According to Donnelly, you can start your night out at Mockingbird Station with a pre-show Cocktail & Snack at the People's Last Stand, catch an Indie or limited release movie at the very comfortable Angelika Theater, grab Dinner at the Pub, and follow with the best Irish Coffee in Texas. Let's not forget some toe-tapping music to sing along with, courtesy of Trinity Hall Irish Pub. As Donnelly says, "Slainte ya'll!"
