What are the most essential advantages of installing custom tiles?

With custom tile you can get just about any look you would want, from wood to stone; so you can go from modern to a more relaxed retreat style look. The main advantage would be the one of a kind look created. We have many tiles in different looks, colors, sizes, and patterns. Come by and allow our experienced sales force help you design pretty much anything you want and where you want it. Utilize our extensive inventory to create your one of a kind look.

What basic options do homeowners have when it comes to new tile flooring?

The options are almost limitless in today's tile fashion industry, again it's is up to the client wishes where we can go with the style in flooring or wall tile today: color and design, along with shapes and sizes.

Is there anything that most people don't know about tile that they should know?

They should always view tile from at least 4-5 foot away to get the true look of the design of the print on the tile. And they should get a tile that is fired at least above 2000 degrees or they would have a tile that could absorb moisture at a higher rate that they would want. As a minimum, consumers should know the difference between ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone to include the hardness and maintenance of each type of tile.

In what areas of the home is tile flooring most applicable and functional?

In the past, tile was normally utilized only in the wet areas of the home, such as the kitchen and bathrooms. As the quality and style of tile has progressed, today's consumer has found that you can tile a complete home with amazing and fashionable results.

Do you have any advice for choosing the right tiling for a specific room?

The professionals who work for us try to complement style and function in a form that best meets the clients wishes. As for choosing the right tile for any specific room, it would mean choosing the right size, color, and hardness to fulfill the needs of the job. For example, when tiling a bathroom and shower area try to stay away from putting the same tile on the wall of the shower as on the floor; try and get a shade lighter than the floor tile to make the room look larger and brighter.
