What are the three most critical qualities a contractor must possess?

What are the benefits of working with a contracting company that stays from design to completion of the project?

It takes the worry out of the homebuilding experience; it prevents miscommunication; it insures continuity in the building process

What business practices do you implement and believe are necessary for a quality contractor to possess?

You must have a great team; consistent communication with the customer (we do weekly updates on the progress of each project with the customer); follow through on customer service requests (you can do a great job building the home, but if the customer service falls through, that is what they will remember about you). Once a home is completed, we contact customers at 4, 8 and 12 months and follow up for any customer service that needs to be taken care of.

Is it more advantageous to have a contractor who focuses on one aspect of the trade more or one who is more generalize?

A contractor needs to be an expert in all the areas of construction. Our team specializes in multiple areas to make sure the highest quality is obtained.

What advice do you have for someone who knows that they need a contractor but are hesitant to approach them due to budget constraints?

They need to approach the contractor FIRST before purchasing a design or hiring an architect. The contractor can make design recommendations that will help them to choose a plan that will keep them in their budget.
